At TESSA, sustainability is more than a word — it’s a daily responsibility.
As part of our ongoing environmental strategy, we’re proud to share that we are now part of Ecuador’s Carbono Cero Program (PECC), an official initiative led by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Ecological Transition (MAE) that guides companies toward measurable climate action.
Only a few floriculture companies in Ecuador hold this recognition, and we are incredibly proud to be among them.
The Ecuador Carbono Cero Program (PECC) was established to assist organizations in taking verifiable steps to reduce and ultimately neutralize their greenhouse gas (GHG) emission.

Within the Ecuador Carbono Cero Program, TESSA has earned both the Quantification Distinction and the Reduction Certification, demonstrating measurable progress in our sustainability strategy.
- A commitment to measurable sustainability.
- A promise to our partners and clients to operate responsibly.
- A step forward for Ecuador’s flower industry, proving that environmental leadership and business excellence can bloom together.
By participating in the Ecuador Carbono Cero Program, we contribute to the country’s national climate goals and help establish a solid foundation for a truly sustainable flower industry.

A Step Forward for Ecuador’s Floral Industry
The Carbono Cero program is unique because it’s designed and led by Ecuador, making it one of the first national models in Latin America focused on helping companies become climate-responsible. Reaching carbon neutrality is a key objective in the company’s long-term sustainability plan. The Quantification Distinction and Reduction Certification are not the finish line; we are the building blocks of a broader vision: to grow beauty responsibly while protecting the environment that allows us to flourish.
We’re proud to be part of a national movement that is shaping a more responsible, transparent, and climate-conscious industry. Because when we produce with purpose, we grow a future that truly blooms.
