So while the traditions remain classic, the styling trends change yearly. Today, we’ll catch you up on colors and styles trending for the holiday season of 2022.
Holiday Floral Trends
Trend 1: Marigold Motifs
Fiery oranges and burnt yellows are hotter than ever this Fall and Winter. Bright, energetic, and dynamic, these hues are taking center stage among the floral trends right now, and we don’t see them slowing down anytime soon. Styled on their own or paired with neutral and pink blooms, Marigold-themed florals will easily add a burst of color to any space without being “too much.”
We recommend our Atomic, Free Spirit or Nexus rose varieties, but you can choose from many orange, yellow, bi-color, and peach options available at Tessa Corp.
Trend 2: Lavender Haze
It all started with Pantone’s color of the year, Very Peri, but the jewel tones are still trending late into the fall and winter seasons. And now to the tune of Taylor Swift’s Lavender Haze, which inspired the name for this trend.
But why stop when this color palette is directly linked to inspiration, optimism, hope, and a positive outlook for the future? All the things we need right now. So we can’t stop, we won’t stop, and thus the lavender trend continues. It looks even more stunning when paired with lush greenery and blue or pink accent florals.
We recommend all of our lavender varieties, each a unique and captivating beauty. And stay tuned for the launch of our new lavender rose NEXT WEEK!
Trend 3: High Contrasts
Forget monochrome! High contrasts are all the rage right now, and the possibilities are endless.
Dusty pinks paired with reds and moody plums. Creamy neutrals paired with burgundy and dark reds. Light peach and pastels combined with rusty fall hues. You get the idea! High contrasts create a more dramatic expression, which is in high demand this holiday season.
Our Tessa Corp catalog offers dozens of options to choose from, including over 100 varieties of our premium roses, as well as spray roses, gypsophila, and alstroemerias.
Trend 4: Ombre Orientation
Rules are meant to be broken; otherwise, where is the fun? Why blend when you can ombre, right? We love this fun and unique trend that comes in many executions, from neatly arranged ombre to color outside the lines to rigid color line, and many other expressions. We love the fearless creativity that drives this trend up the ranks.
Trend 5: Bring The Bling
And we had to save the best for last because this trend feels like some serious magic. We are starting to see it take flight as more master florists pick up on this fantastic idea which involves taking BLING to the next level by adding actual jewelry, pearls, gemstones, sparkles, and precious metals to flower petals and stems of the arrangement. Now, that’s something completely different and can work for any floral choice.
