We’ve invited remarkable women from all over the globe to speak with us next week and to use our platform to amplify their voices and tell their stories.
We are so excited to bring you these powerful stories. But first, let’s talk about some amazing stats from the floral industry as a whole. Did you know that…
- The worldwide market for flowers is expected to grow roughly 6.3% over the next five years, reaching $57.4 Billion USD in 2024, up from $42.4 Billion USD in 2019
- Over the past 20 years, the production of cut flowers has grown by 7.5% annually
- Online flower shops have grown 11.8% from 2014-2019
- Also, did you know that 70& of all flower purchases are made by women for other women? Women have a lot of power and influence in the floral market.
That’s exactly why we see a need to give more spotlight to women in the floral industry.
At Tessa Corp, more than 50% of company employees are women, occupying all kinds of roles from executive to managerial to farm positions.

We at Tessa Corp are super excited to introduce you to our incredible speakers, all of whom are accomplished women business professionals in the floral industry.
They all have diverse backgrounds and run their companies in different parts of the world, from North to South America, and from Europe to Russia.
Please note that all event times are announced in the New York time zone. This is what you can expect:
- On Monday, March 8 at 11am New York time we’ll have a conversation with Akeshi Akinseye, founder and CEO of Kesh Events, Kesh Designs Home, The Kesh Experience and host of her Podcast ‘Let’s Talk About It With Akeshi Akinseye.” Akeshi is based in Chicago, Illinois in the US and this event will be in English
- On Tuesday, March 9 at 11am New York time, you will meet our second guests, a mother-daughter duo, Ana Isabel and Anais Vivas, the founders of Aniska Creations. Originally from Venezuela, but running their floral business from South Florida, this conversation will take place in Spanish.
- On Wednesday, March 10 at 11am New York time, you will see another side of the Floral Industry with a conversion with Jules Lewis Gibson, Publisher & Creative Director of Florists’ Review magazine. Jules is based in Florida and this event will be streamed in English.
- On Thursday, March 11 at 9am New York time, we will introduce you to our first Russian guest, Elizaveta of Listva Flower Shop in Kemerovo, Russia, in the Siberia region. This livestream will be in Russian but will be translated into English for the global audience shortly after.
- On Friday, March 12, we will bring you not one but two amazing talks:
- At 10 am New York time, we will speak with Lena Romanova, a freelance florist, mentor, and educator based in Moscow, Russia, known for her collaborative approach to floristry. This live event will also be in Russian but will be translated into English for the global audience shortly after.
- Then at 12 pm New York time on Friday, March 12, we will welcome Anna, the founder of The Blonde & The Bloom UK-based luxury flower studio. This dialogue will be in English.
Our daily events will be streamed LIVE on Instagram in different languages – in English, Spanish and Russian, based on our guests’ preferences. They will be later translated into English and shared across our social media, on Tessa Corp website, and on our Youtube account.
