Anna Boyes #EmpowHERed Women Series

We are thrilled to introduce our last guest of our EmpowHERed Women Series in celebration of Women Day. During the week of March 8th, we transmitted daily via our Instagram LIVE, a series of Interviews with special guests all of whom are remarkable women in the floral industry. These conversions were created to empower and celebrate women’s successes and inspire others to follow their passions.

Anna Boyes, Founder of The Blonde & The Blooms and a luxury artisan florist based in Doncaster, Yorkshire UK. Always being a creative individual, at age 16 Anna was offered free training at a renowned local florist, which turned into a full-time work opportunity. Having that expert mentorship and learning outstanding techniques sparked a deep passion for floristry with Anna. But at the time, she chose to prioritize her studies in hopes of having the skill set to open her own business one day.

Her career path led her to corporate sales roles. However, she never lost her love for floral design, creating bespoke designs and completed wedding florals on evenings and weekends. Becoming a mom to her little boy, George, in December 2019 inspired her to launch her own floral business with the goal to make work-life work around her family. That’s how The Blonde & The Blooms was born.

After just a year in business, Anna’s hard work has received overwhelming support in her community allowing her business to grow and thrive.
